Progress Report

Since January, we, as a school, have made contact on several occasions with our Partner School. Unfortunately, it has been impossible to progress to the next stage...of the pupils making contact.

This was due to the recent industrial action in French schools. However, here at Prince Herny's, the pupils, in the group chosen to communicate with the school in France have been given specially customised and filtered e-mail addresses, so that we can make contact immediately in September. I have also sent letters home to the parents of the pupils involved sharing our objectives and intentions and eventual outcomes with the LC-SE project.

The project has been welcomed greatly by parents/carers, and the pupils are very much looking forward to communicating with the school in France as soon as we return after the summer holidays.

Myself and our French [teacher] contact have emailed regularly, and we have forged a sound working relationship which will hopefully continue to develop over the Summer holidays.
